Notes to ALL Applicants

1. In-year and year-end admission can only be applied online through this application platform.
   1. Category I: Second term of SY2024-2025
   2. Category II: First Term of SY2025-2026
2. Applicants are required to register an account first and can begin filling out the application form only after activating it via email.
3. The application should be completed within 60 minutes.
4. Only one application can be submitted per email address.
5. Please prepare scanned files of the following supporting documents before you start filling in the application form - each of item (a) to (c) must be in jpg format with file size not more than 2Mb. Each of item (d) to (f) must be of 1 single file in PDF format with file size not more than 10 Mb. Original documents will be required for inspection during registration.
   
   1. A frontal half-length recent photograph with an aspect ratio of 5:4
   2. Applicant's HKID card
   3. Student visa (For non-local students)
   4. All examination reports of the latest three years 
   5. A maximum of 15 relevant awards, certificates or proof of activities, and
   6. Any other relevant supporting documents (Recommendation letter is not essential)
6. The scanned copies of the latest documents should also be submitted through emailing to iyadmission@cfss.edu.hk as soon as they are available.
7. When completing the online application form, applicants must ensure they have submitted report cards for all terms of the latest three years. The School will select applicants for the written test based on an average of Grade B or above in conduct, Chinese, English, and Mathematics. Applicants must ensure that the documents submitted meet these requirements. Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of HKD 75 upon online submission.
8. All information should be declared truthfully. Applicant’s information will be treated with strictest confidence. All submitted information will solely be used for admission purpose by The Chinese Foundation Secondary School.

10. In the academic year 2024 – 2025, our annual school fees are as follows:

    	S.1 to S.3	S.4 to S.6
    Local Student	HKD 19,820	HKD 26,400
    Non-local Student	HKD 95,492	HKD 115,288

11. Needy students (including those from families receiving the CSSA and students receiving financial assistance provided by the WFSFAA) may apply for fee remission. The fee remission scheme is a means tested scheme. In order to take into consideration of different financial circumstances of applicants, two categories of fee remission are available: 100% or 50% for intake from 2020/21 onwards. Details of our fee remission/scholarship schemes can be obtained from the School’s website at here or collected from our School Office. For enquiries on these schemes, please contact our School Office at 2904 7322.
